Champagne Records signs new jazz artist, Erin Dickins!
Erin Dickins, recording artist and founding member of the jazz vocal group Manhattan Transfer, is pleased to announce a "snazzy, jazzy CD Release Concert" at Easton's Avalon Theatre Oct. 21.
Dickins recently completed work in New York and Los Angeles on her new jazz CD, and she is celebrating the release of, "Nice Girls", with this special appearance at the Avalon — a particularly sweet victory for the singer, whose many friends feared they would never live long enough to see this project completed. "It's been an amazing process," says Dickins, "and it was worth every single minute of effort."
The first release on the newly minted "Champagne Records" label, "Nice Girls " is produced by Jesse Frederick — a formidable Los Angeles composer and producer who has penned many well-known television theme songs including, "Full House", "Perfect Strangers", "Family Matters" and "Step by Step." With arrangements by Frederick and Rob Mounsey, "Nice Girls" is an impressive and appealing effort. Proceeds from the CD release concert will benefit TomCat Solutions.
